Professor Sanath Nandasiri is a highly acclaimed Sri Lankan classical musician who has received several awards.
He first appeared on Radio at the age of 13, and studied tabla under D R Peiris. In 1960 he went to Bhatkhande for further studies.
Back in Sri Lanka he joined University of Kelaniya and now serves as the Dean of the Music Faculty at the University of the Visual Arts & Performing Arts.
